Digital Marketing Manager

Emursive Productions, the producing company behind the award-winning theatrical experience Sleep No More and newly opened Life And Trust, along with several unique restaurants, bars, and venues, is seeking a full time, dynamic Digital Marketing Manager to help lead its digital marketing roadmap.

 

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company’s brand websites, email marketing and SMS campaigns, and digital customer journey. A key player in driving audience growth, this person will develop and implement digital marketing strategies designed to maximize ticket revenue, cultivate patron data, and create engaging user experiences that meet both brand and performance goals.

 

Candidates should be self-motivated, collaborative, and analytical, with a data-driven mindset. This is an onsite position in NYC with a heavy execution orientation for an active, 365-day a year entertainment business. 

 

This position reports to the Marketing Director.

 

Job responsibilities will include:

  • Help lead the development and execution of the organization’s overall digital roadmap, which includes website, email marketing, SMS, SEO/SEM, and ticketing strategies
  • Maintain ownership of the content and functionality on company-owned websites, cross-collaborating with external teams and key stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely updates for all events, performances, and venues
  • Project manage the creative and technical build of new websites, microsites, and landing pages, along with ongoing functionality improvements to existing properties
  • Utilize website analytical tools and establish KPIs to monitor and optimize the performance of key digital assets and campaigns
  • Manage the email and mobile marketing calendar, ensuring timely execution of promotional campaigns and alignment with social media, press, and paid media initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with the box office team and ticketing vendors to ensure an always high-performing, synchronized, and satisfying customer journey
  • Oversee the CRM database and implement effective audience strategies relating to acquisition, retention, segmentation, and list hygiene
  • Serve as a key liaison with external web development vendors and media agency partners

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, computer science, web programming, data science, or other related field
  • 3+ years experience in digital marketing or website operations, preferably in the live entertainment or hospitality industries
  • In-depth knowledge of website analytics, automated journeys, UX/UI, and digital marketing best practices
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns on tight deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience with CMS, CRM, and e-commerce or ticketing platforms; basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Passion for live entertainment, theater, hospitality, and the creative arts
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills

 

Salary

$75,000 – $85,000
